Job summary

Oak View Group (OVG) seeks a Concessions Worker to prepare and serve concession items, pour beverages, and handle cash transactions at our Toronto venue. The role is part-time and pays $18.00 CAD per hour and is tip eligible, with pension matching for part-time staff.

You will maintain stock, assist guests, check IDs for alcohol, and ensure sanitation and safety. Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays is required, and previous cash handling experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Three or more months’ experience in the food service industry preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred or willingness to learn to handle cash and operate a cash register.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers and guests.
• Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Process cash register sales by taking orders and completing transactions.
• Build orders, prepare food, and maintain knowledge of all concessions areas.
• Maintain stock levels and report low-stock items to the Concessions Stand Manager.
• Respond to customer requests or concerns.
• Keep work area clean and organized, including dishwashing and waste disposal.
• Serve beverages to guests, including alcohol, responsibly.
• Check guest IDs to verify minimum age for alcohol.
• Uphold sanitation, health, and safety standards.

Position Summary

The Concessions Worker prepares and serves concession items to guests. Prepares and pours beverages and serves them to guests. Ensures quality of food presentation. Utilizes a cash register and accepts payment. Must be able to maintain excellent attendance in accordance with the attendance policy.

This role pays an hourly rate of $18.00 CAD and is tip eligible.

This position will remain open until November 27, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Conduct the cash register sales by taking orders, building orders, and completing the transaction.
• Build orders, prepare food, and have knowledge of all areas in the concessions operations.
• Responsible for maintaining stock and supply levels and communicating low-stock items to the Concessions Stand Manager.
• Listening and responding to customer requests or concerns.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including but not limited to disposal of garbage & cleaning dishes.
• Serve beverages to guests, including alcoholic beverages, responsibly.
• Check guest’s ID in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify the minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages.
• Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
