Job summary

The Town of Milton is seeking a part-time Concession Shift Leader to supervise concession staff, assist with food preparation, manage inventory and ensure a clean, safe service area. You will lead part-time attendants, deliver exceptional customer service and oversee cash handling during shifts.

The role requires minimum grade 11, 1 year in food prep and POS experience, and strong communication with a focus on safety and teamwork. Applicants may be invited to provide a criminal records check.

Qualifications

• Minimum grade 11 education or equivalent qualification.
• At least 1 year experience with food preparation and cash handling.
• Strong communication and customer service skills; able to work in a team.
• Interpersonal, problem solving and diplomacy skills are valued.
• Experience with POS systems is an asset; First Aid/CPR and Safe Food Handling are assets.

Responsibilities

• Lead concession attendants and assign work in a fast-paced setting.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain cleanliness.
• Focus on food preparation, serving customers, and sanitary work area.
• Handle cash accurately and balance at shift end.
• Open/close concessions following procedures and inventory management.
• Stock shelves, organize displays and maintain equipment cleanliness.
• Document inventory and assist with orders and deliveries.
• Assist with training of concession staff and support events.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and follow OHSA guidelines.
