Job summary

Eventium Food Services, part of the GSL Group of Companies, seeks a Lead Concession Cook for Save on Foods Memorial Centre. You will prepare high quality meals, uphold food safety standards, and contribute to guests' positive experiences during events.

Ideal candidates have recent fast-paced cook experience and Food Safe certification, with availability for evenings and weekends and occasional shifts during hockey games.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook in fast-paced environments.
• Food Safety certification (Food Safe) required or stated.
• Availability evenings and weekends, with some shifts during events and hockey games.

As theLead ConcessionCook at the Save on Foods Memorial Centre, you play a critical part in our guest's experience. You use your thorough understanding of food safety and handling to prepare high quality meals, ensuring the highest standards are attained. We'll do our part to provide a fun environment and great teammates to work with.Ideally, you have recent experience as a cook in a fast-paced environment and you already have your Food Safe certification.

We offer competitive pay, asignificant tip-pool system,typically upwards of $50 per event, and other incentives such as free hockey tickets and family style dinner!

If you havea good sense of humour, a track record of providing excellent meals to your customers, are available evenings and weekends,have your Food Safe certificationand want to work a few shifts a monthduring events and hockey games, This is a perfect side gig for experienced cooks as the shifts are during game and event days. 1-2 shifts per month in the summer and 2-3 shifts per week during the busier hockey season.
