Job summary

Heyhey Bar & Grill in Delta, part of the GSL Group, is seeking a cook to prepare high-quality pub-style meals in a fast-paced environment. You will ensure strict food safety standards and contribute to an exceptional dining experience for guests.

The ideal candidate has recent cooking experience in a bar & grill setting, holds Food Safe certification, and can lift up to 50 pounds. Availability Thursday nights, Saturdays, and Sundays (days/evenings) to work three shifts per week is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have Food Safe Certification or equivalent.
• Experience cooking in bar & grill/pub style environments preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and food safety standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work 3 shifts per week.

As the Cook, you're instrumental in creating our customer's dining experience at Heyhey. You play a critical part in our success. You use your thorough understanding of food safety and handling to prepare high quality meals, ensuring the highest standards are realized. We'll do our part to provide a fun environment, great teammates to work with and abundant free parking!!

Ideally, you have recent experience as a cook in a similar 'bar & grill' type of place that serves high quality 'pub style' meals. If you already have your Food Safe certification, your resume will show up in our "daily specials' board.

If you are available Thursday nights, Saturday and Sundays (days and evenings) and want to work 3 shifts per week, have a good sense of humour, a track record (at least a year) of cooking excellent meals to your customers, have your Food Safe certification and are able to safely lift up to 50 pounds,
