Job description

We are currently hiring Concession Attendants to join us at Stanley Park Brewing Restaurant & Brewpub in Vancouver!

This is a fixed-term opportunity ending October 15, 2024, with the opportunity for an extension. Part-time and full-time opportunities are available!

The Concessions Associate is responsible for maintaining operations and assisting customers at the Stanley Park Brew Pub Concessions. This position assists in setting the example in offering the highest level of guest experience.

Responsibilities of this role include:

• Ability to provide excellent guest service while working in a very fast-paced environment
• Greet guests and provide timely service
• Serve food, beverages, desserts to guests
• Accurate cash, debit, credit handling at register
• Replenish foods at serving stations
• Prepare food such as popcorn, hot dogs, ice cream dishes, and fountain sodas, using standard formulas
• Inventory control, assess stock levels, prepare product orders
• Ensure cleanliness of all surfaces and equipment
• Ensure all sanitation procedures are followed relating to all local licensing regulations

Working Conditions:

• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Standing, stooping, and bending for long periods of time

Qualifications:

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Readiness to work well with others
• Prior concessions experience preferred including POS systems and purchasing
• Must utilize excellent guest service skills to enhance the experience and meet the needs of our guests with a positive attitude
• Must be able to multi-task and be self-motivated
• Adherence to a uniform policy and grooming standards, must present a neat and professional appearance
• Qualified candidate will be mature, responsible, dependable individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
• Must fulfill all departmental training requirements

Required Training and Experience:

• Relevant industry experience is an asset
