Qualifications

  • A clean Driver's Abstract.
  • Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check.

Job description

Salary : Hourly wage $20.36-$23.75, Full-time benefits include health / dental / vision care, annual inflation raise, annual discretionary bonus, and GRSP.

Join our dedicated crews who transfer patients for essential treatments or discharges. Drivers and Care Attendants across various areas throughout the Lower Mainland can work variable shifts with a company established for 20 years in a stable and secure industry.

We are seeking Patient Transfer Attendants for our Patient Transfer Service to assist community members in transferring between medical facilities.

Compensation Package

Our package includes hourly wages, an annual discretionary bonus, the opportunity for overtime, and eligibility for Group Benefits and RRSP programs. We conduct a CPI pay review each January.

Requirements :

  • Class 5 BC Driver's License with at least 5 years of driving experience
  • A clean Driver's Abstract
  • A current valid WSBC-recognized OFA Level 1 (or Basic First Aid)
  • Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check to work with children and vulnerable adults
  • Vaccinations in accordance with the Immunization Policy for Healthcare Workers

About Us :

We are the leading provider of non-emergency patient transfers for medically stable patients throughout the Lower Mainland, using specially equipped ambulances and accessible vehicles to ensure safe, compassionate, and efficient transfers.

Skills and Abilities :

  • Physically fit, able to lift, push, or pull 250+ lbs using a wheelchair, stretcher, or stair chair with a partner
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team participation
  • Relevant customer service experience or experience working with patients
