Responsibilities:

  • Safely marshalling in and out arriving and departing aircrafts, taking care to secure the aircraft and provide car valet service, luggage handling as necessary;
  • Safely operate fuel trucks - fueling and completing aircraft orders;
  • Performing loading and receiving of fuel at storage facility;
  • Handle aviation/jet fuel quality checks by conducting various tests and procedures;
  • Document fuel quality and fueling equipment inspections on applicable forms;
  • Tow aircraft in and out of hangars and on aprons/ramps;
  • Provide any number of ground services to aircrafts (i.e. connecting ground power units, lavatory waste disposal, potable water etc.);
  • Maintain a professional appearance and conduct with customers and coworkers;
  • Maintain the cleanliness of all facilities and equipment;
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • High school Diploma or GED required;
  • Valid Class 5 with the ability to obtain a Class 3 w/airbrakes.
  • Must be able to obtain a Transport Canada Security Clearance, including an Airside Vehicle Operators Permit.
  • Aviation experience is considered an asset;
  • Must be a team player with good communication skills;
  • Must have basic computer skills;
  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • Being mechanically-inclined is considered an asset;
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs;
  • Ability to work outside in a variety of weather/environmental conditions.
  • Applicants must have own transportation and the ability to work different types of shifts, mornings, afternoons, overnights.
