Job summary

eCycle solutions Inc. is seeking a computer technician to refurbish and optimize used IT assets. The role includes receiving inventory, participating in onsite pickups, prepping equipment for shipping, and auditing computers for resale potential.

You will diagnose hardware issues, upgrade software and hardware as needed, perform secure data destruction upon request, and document data in ERP/Excel while ensuring customer requirements are met in a timely, secure manner.

Qualifications

• Experience with computer hardware is required.
• Ability to complete customer requirements.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and triage inventory.
• Participate in onsite pickups and deliveries.
• Prepare equipment for shipping.
• Inspect and audit computers and categorize for resale potential.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware problems and configure/upgrade software and hardware.
• Perform hard drive wiping and secure data destruction as requested.
• Input data into ERP system and/or Excel.
• Ensure timely and secure completion of customer requirements.
• Perform other duties as required.
