The ideal candidate will have experience with creating 2D and 3D drawings using CATIA V5, V6.

Responsibilities

• Download customer information: 2D & 3D data, engineering standards & specifications. Create 3D models (proposals, studies) and 2D associated drawings.
• Ensure CAD data is released properly through the Teamcenter PDM system.
• Prepare Design Specifications.
• Support detailed engineering analysis using available methods (FEA, Tolerance Stack-up, Packaging Studies).
• Manage data effectively.
• Support all Engineering Change activities related to 2D & 3D data (uploads, data revisions, engineering level data comparison, component drawings creation & updates).

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years experience with CAD Design.
• Ability to identify design engineering requirements.
• Ability to create necessary prints for departments or customers as required.
• Participates in continuous improvement activities through the Kaizen philosophy.
• Experience creating 2D and 3D drawings using CATIA V5, V6.
• Strong skills in CAD modeling and drafting (GD&T, assemblies, specifications).
• High technical proficiency in part design and problem-solving.
• Software proficiencies must include CATIA, NX, Teamcenter, and Ansys.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
