Benevity is seeking a Compensation Program Analyst to enhance day-to-day compensation operations. The role is highly impactful, ensuring fair employee payments while assisting managers and leaders in making strategic compensation decisions aligned with their culture and values. A background in tech compensation with strong analytical and communication skills is essential to drive change and clarity across the organization.
Meet Benevity
Benevity is the way the world does good, providing companies (and their employees) with technology to take social action on the issues they care about. Through giving, volunteering, grantmaking, employee resource groups and micro-actions, we help most of the Fortune 100 brands build better cultures and use their power for good. We’re also one of the first B Corporations in Canada, meaning we’re as committed to purpose as we are to profits. We have people working all over the world, including Canada, Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United States and more!
We are seeking a Compensation Program Analyst to join our People Operations team, reporting directly to the Senior Manager of People Operations. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role for a compensation professional who thrives on bringing structure, clarity, and fairness to how decisions are made. The ideal candidate will balance tactical execution with the ability to support change and adoption across a growing organization.
You will play a critical role in day-to-day compensation operations, including offer approvals, promotion reviews, and internal mobility compensation decisions. You’ll bring a practical mindset to solving complex problems, offering grounded recommendations and solutions that align with our growth strategy and cultural values. You will also act as a trusted partner to People Business Partners and business leaders, helping them understand and apply our compensation frameworks.
In addition to tactical execution, you will help evolve and sustain our compensation architecture and programs by supporting thoughtful, insight-informed decision-making, facilitating enablement programs, and engaging in change management efforts. You are a strong communicator and educator who can demystify compensation for non-experts and bring people along in change.
This is a high-impact role where you will directly influence how compensation is understood, applied, and perceived across the organization.
What you’ll do:
You will be the connective tissue between compensation policy and real-world decision-making. Your work ensures that employees are paid fairly, managers are empowered to make good decisions, and the organization can scale compensation practices with clarity and trust. This is not a back-office comp role. It is embedded, influential, and essential to the employee experience.
This role supports informed decision-making by providing structured insights. Your work will guide the organization through nuance and complexity, using data to reinforce sound, thoughtful compensation choices.
