Job summary

Sienna Senior Living in Toronto is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) for a permanent part-time Day shift at Norfinch Community. You’ll deliver nursing care per resident care plans, collaborate with a compassionate team, and support residents to maintain comfort, dignity and independence.

• Provide nursing care in accordance with established policy and resident care plan.
• Supervise care delivery and oversee support staff.
• Collaborate with interprofessional team to support resident well-being.
• Apply sound nursing judgment to assess and respond to changes in resident status.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per plan of care and physician orders.
• Oversee the unit and supervise PSWs/UNregulated team members.
• Communicate effectively with residents and families.
• Assist with admissions, readmissions and status changes.
