Qualicare Homecare in Whitby, Ontario is seeking a dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSW)/Caregiver to join our home care team. You will provide compassionate personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and companionship to clients in their homes under supervision of the Care Coordinator.

Required PSW certificate or equivalent, CPR/First Aid, valid driver's license, and ability to travel within the service area.

Competenze

• PSW certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse acceptable).
• Current CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray.
• Ability to travel around the service area.
• Access to Internet and mobile phone.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.

Mansioni

• Assistance with personal care and hygiene.
• Meal preparation and assistance with eating.
• Light housekeeping and domestic tasks.
• Accompany clients on outings and appointments.
• Shopping and errands as needed.
• Medication assistance/reminders.
• Ambulation/coordination of transportation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Follow the client’s care plan accurately.
• Documentation and charting of care activities.
