Job summary

Qualicare Homecare seeks compassionate Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to join our dedicated home care team. You will provide personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, accompany clients on outings, run errands, assist with medications, and support clients to maintain independence in their own homes.

Applicants should have a PSW certificate or equivalent, CPR/First Aid, a clean background check, access to a vehicle, and willingness to travel within the service area.

Qualifications

• Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student).
• Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain
• Current clean Background Check or be willing to obtain one
• Ability to travel around the location territory
• Access to a vehicle

Responsibilities

• Assistance with personal care and hygiene
• Meal Preparation
• Light Housekeeping
• Accompany clients on outings
• Shopping and errands
• Medication Assist/ Reminders
• Ambulation and transporting of clients
• Provide companionship to clients
