Qualifications

• PSW certificate/diploma required.
• Abide by vocational standards set by the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities.
• Meet standards established by the National Association of Career Colleges.
• Meet standards established by the Ontario Community Support Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to residents according to care plans.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, secure environment for residents, visitors and staff.
• Monitor care as per plan and report findings to supervisor.
• Document information pertaining to residents' care as directed.
• Attend in-service sessions, staff meetings, and onboarding of new staff.
