Job summary

AgeCare in Canada is seeking a Personal Support Worker to provide care to residents according to their care plans and help identify resident needs. You will assist in maintaining a safe, home-like environment and support daily activities and bedside care.

The role requires a PSW certificate/diploma, adherence to sanitation standards and IPAC policies, and active participation in staff education and onboarding to ensure compassionate, dignified care for seniors.

Qualifications

• Graduate of PSW Certificate/Diploma Program.
• Knowledge of geriatric resident needs and basic sanitation.
• Ability to document resident care and follow care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to residents according to their care plans.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
• Document information pertaining to the care of residents as directed.
• Participate in in-service education sessions and onboarding activities.
