Job summary

Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care is seeking a Personal Support Worker for permanent day shifts. The PSW will provide personal care, support residents' daily activities, and contribute to individualized care plans in a culturally inclusive environment.

CPR certification, Ontario PSW training, and potential HSCPOA registration are required or preferred. This full-time role offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, opportunities for professional development, and a collaborative team

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Personal Support Worker course in Ontario, or equivalent.
• CPR certification is current.
• Registration with HSCPOA preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to speak Chinese is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and personal hygiene.
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition and contribute to care plans.
• Deliver care safely and promote resident independence and dignity.
• Maintain clear documentation and accurate records.
• Collaborate with care teams to ensure quality resident care.
