Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in Canada.
• Must have a valid PSW certification.
• Must have a Clear Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in Dementia Care is an asset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• Driver's license and access to a vehicle is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Support clients with meals and nutrition, including meal preparation.
• Monitor health conditions and report changes to healthcare professionals.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document appropriately.
• Assist with mobility and prescribed exercises.
• Maintain a safe, clean living environment for clients.
• Collaborate with family and healthcare staff to develop care plans.
