Job summary

Bayshore HealthCare is seeking a Personal Support Worker to provide compassionate in-home care in the Toronto area. The role requires following individualized care plans and maintaining client safety and comfort across daily activities.

The successful candidate will have an accredited PSW program completion and at least one year of relevant experience. The job offers part-time and full-time options with company-supported benefits and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Personal Support Worker Program.
• At least one year of recent personal care experience in a similar position or life experience with similar duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care service according to the established care plan and ensure emotional, spiritual, physical comfort and safety of clients.
• Perform duties within provincial scope for PSWs, including activities like skin care, bathing, feeding with special diets, and assistance with oxygen and medications reminder.
• Observe and document client conditions per company standards and communicate changes to the Supervisor or Office.
• Adhere to Bayshore Policies and Procedures and participate in continuous education and quality initiatives.
