Qualifications

• Education - Graduation from an accredited Personal Support Worker Program.
• The PSW must have solid knowledge of community nursing principles and the delivery of personal care.
• Must have driver's license and reliable vehicle to commute with

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care according to the established care plan, ensuring emotional, spiritual, physical comfort and safety of clients.
• Perform duties within provincial PSW scope including skin care, bathing, feeding, and assistance with mobility.
• Observe and document client conditions and report changes to the Supervisor.
• Adhere to infection prevention practices and Bayshore Policies.
• Participate in ongoing education and quality improvement activities.
