Qualifications

• Completion of accredited caregiver training program or equivalent education/experience.
• Strong knowledge of caregiving principles and customer service.
• English communication skills; French a plus.
• Ability to assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Clear Criminal background check with Vulnerable Sector Check.

Responsibilities

• Provide homemaking services including cleaning, cooking, laundry, and household management.
• Offer companionship and accompany clients to activities and events.
• Administer personal care per care plan directives.
• Ensure client comfort, safety and well-being to the highest standard.
• Assist with daily living activities as needed, tailored to client needs.
• Perform trained procedures where training has been provided.
• Observe and document client conditions; report changes to supervisor.
• Adhere to infection prevention practices.
