Qualifications

• Experience working with seniors and with unregulated care providers preferred.
• Demonstrated sound clinical knowledge.
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide planned, patient-oriented nursing care according to provincial standards.
• Implement and evaluate effectiveness of care plans.
• Teach and direct unregulated care providers with coaching.

Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office

Education

Current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the applicable province

Education and experience in gerontology

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification
