Job summary

ParaMed is hiring a Home Support Worker to assist clients in their homes across Renfrew, Arnprior, Calabogie, Eganville, and Deep River. The role includes traveling between patients, helping with meals, light housekeeping, companionship, and basic personal care. A valid driver’s license and vehicle are required.

Training is provided, with opportunities for full-time hours and benefits after graduation. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be willing to work every other

Qualifications

• Compassionate approach and active listening skills.
• Willingness to visit patients within a defined area.
• Ability to work every other weekend if required.

Responsibilities

• Visit patients for multiple home visits per day.
• Assist with meal preparation and meal-time support.
• Perform basic housekeeping duties.
• Provide companionship and support overall well-being of patients.
• Assist with personal hygiene care including showering and bathing.
• Support activities of daily living as needed.
