Job summary

ParaMed is seeking a Home Support Worker to assist individuals in Ontario across multiple towns, providing daily living support, meals, and companionship. Travel to patient homes is required, with opportunities for training and full-time hours after the program.

This role requires a compassionate approach, valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Prior experience with seniors is an asset, with full-time and benefits available after graduation.

Qualifications

• Compassion and patient-focused approach.
• Willingness to travel to patient residences within a designated area.
• Ability to pass a Criminal Background screening on hire.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient visits for daily support.
• Prepare meals and assist with meals.
• Perform light housekeeping and daily living activities.
• Provide companionship and assist with personal hygiene care.
• Support activities of daily living as needed.
