Qualificações

• Diploma/degree or equivalent education (DCS/DEC required).
• Minimum 1 year of supportive care experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, compassionate, and understanding approach.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
• Travel to client homes throughout the area.

Responsabilidades

• Provide emotional and practical support to clients.
• Assist clients with daily living activities and personal care needs.
• Support clients in maintaining independence and achieving their goals.
• Develop and follow individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress.
• Recognize and respond to client needs and crisis situations.

About the Position

Preferred Personal Care is looking for compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join their team. There are three vacancies available, with one position located in each of the following communities: Prince Edward County, Belleville, and Brighton.

The successful candidates will provide quality, person-centred support to individuals with disabilities in their homes, assisting with daily activities while providing emotional support and promoting independence and well-being.
