Job summary

AgeCare Miller Crossing is seeking a compassionate Personal Care/Health Aide to assist residents with daily activities including bathing, feeding, transfers, and mobility support. The role involves following care plans, using lifting aids, and working under the direction of nursing staff to ensure resident comfort and safety.

Experience in continuing care is preferred; English fluency is required, with PCA/HCA certification or equivalent education.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in continuing care or related environment preferred.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Completion of a recognized PCA/HCA certificate or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

• Bath, shower, and wash residents according to the care plan and water temperature procedures.
• Transfer/assist residents with bed transfers using lifts and transfer devices.
• Feed and assist residents at meals per dietary plans.
• Provide routine treatments and care under nurse direction.
• Assist residents with mobility and activity participation.
• Escort residents to dining rooms, beauty parlor, therapy, and recreation areas.
