Qualifications

• Active or eligible for registration or practice permit with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA) as a Health Care Aide.
• Proof of education or completion of Health Care Aide Certificate within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care by supporting activities of daily living.
• Assist in patient assessments and procedures.
• Deliver comfort measures to patients and families; assist with portering and transporting specimens to labs.
• Assist with charting in patient records and maintain a safe environment.
• Work closely with patients, families, and the health care team.
