Job summary

Covenant Health is seeking a part-time Health Care Aide for St. Michael's Health Centre in Lethbridge, AB.

The role provides hands-on personal care, assists with daily living activities, and supports patients to maintain comfort and dignity in a homelike setting. As a regulated HCA, you will work closely with nurses and the interdisciplinary team, monitor health status, document changes, and participate in care plans.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with CLHA prior to employment.
• Minimum of 6 months of dementia care experience.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Monitor health status and report changes to the nursing team.
• Collaborate with nurses to ensure safe, holistic, person-centered care.
• Maintain resident comfort, dignity and engagement in daily routines.
