Job summary

LutherCare Communities in Saskatchewan is seeking a Community Service Worker to join our Group Home team. You will support residents with personal care and safety, implementing individual lifestyle plans and assisting with daily living activities.

This permanent, part-time role offers a 30-hour workweek averaged over a 2-week period, with a wage starting at CAD 17.4939 per hour. Join us in creating a caring, inclusive living environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 education with experience working with adults with cognitive and physical disabilities in a residential setting.
• Disability Support Worker (Rehabilitation Worker) or Special Care Aide coursework is preferred.
• Food Safe Certificate is required; sign language is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Resident Care – assist with personal hygiene, bathing, toileting, dressing, eating.
• Resident Programming – facilitate daily living activities and community participation.
• Home Maintenance – help with housekeeping, laundry and meal preparation.
