Job summary

Comox Valley Toyota, a flagship member of the Trotman Auto Group on Vancouver Island, seeks a dynamic sales leader to build a high-performing team, grow the business, and develop talent. This is a full-time, permanent leadership role with earnings potential tied to performance.

You will recruit, coach, and motivate sales professionals, use data and CRM to drive results, and lead from the front to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven success in automotive sales leadership.
• Strong track record of leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong business acumen with a results-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook, CRM systems, DealerSocket, or similar platforms.

• Lead and Develop Your Team - Recruit, coach, motivate, and develop sales professionals to reach their full potential.
• Drive Sales Performance - Set the pace, create accountability, monitor performance, and find opportunities to increase sales and profitability.
• Deliver Exceptional Guest Experiences - Lead by example and ensure every customer interaction reflects the high standards of Comox Valley Toyota.
• Manage Operations Strategically - Use data, market trends, inventory, CRM activity, and sales performance metrics to make smart business decisions.
• Lead From the Front - Be visible, engaged, and hands-on with your team during busy dealership periods.

Compensation: $150,000 to $250,000+ annually (Commission-Based)

What You Bring

• 5+ years of proven success in automotive sales leadership
• A strong track record of leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams
• Strong business acumen with a results-driven, performance-focused mindset
• Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
• Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook, CRM systems, DealerSocket, or similar platforms
• Valid VSA Licence
• Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s Licence with a clean driver’s abstract
• Entrepreneurial mindset, positive attitude, and a relentless drive to succeed
