Job summary

Comox Valley Dodge in Courtenay, BC, part of Trotman Auto Group, is seeking an Automotive Sales Consultant to join a driven team. You will promote and sell new and pre-owned vehicles with a customer-first approach, explain features and financing options, and complete all paperwork accurately.

The role rewards performance with a competitive commission plan, supports your growth with paid training and NADA courses, and offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in automotive sales or commission-based sales.
• Passion for sales, customer service, and relationship building.
• Motivated, professional, and able to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid VSA license and BC Class 5 driver's license with a clean abstract.
• Strong ability to create and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook, and CRM systems such as DealerSocket or similar.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell new and pre-owned vehicles with a customer-first approach.
• Explain vehicle features, options, and available finance solutions.
• Complete all sales documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Stay knowledgeable about automotive products, programs, and industry trends.
• Develop new business through prospecting, referrals, and follow-up.
• Maintain ongoing communication to build trust and long-term customer relationships.
