Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Community Service Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing essential support and assistance to individuals and families in need within our community. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact and contribute to the well-being of others.

Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct assessments to identify the needs and strengths of clients.
  2. Develop and implement individualized service plans to address client goals and objectives.
  3. Provide advocacy and support to clients in accessing community resources and services.
  4. Deliver counseling and guidance to individuals and families facing various challenges.
  5. Facilitate group sessions and workshops on topics such as life skills, employment readiness, and financial literacy.
  6. Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
  7. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
  8. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or a related field preferred.
  2. Previous experience in community service or social work is advantageous.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to empathize and connect with diverse populations.
  5. Proficiency in record-keeping and documentation.
  6. Familiarity with local social service resources and networks.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
