Job summary

L’Arche Stratford is seeking a Program Manager in Stratford to oversee the activities program, develop new initiatives, and supervise the Activities Team. This permanent, full-time role contributes to the Senior Management Team and aligns with the Mission of L’Arche Stratford and the Servant Leadership Model.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or certificate in program development or recreation studies.
• Leadership experience in a not-for-profit environment is an asset.
• Experience supporting individuals with a developmental disability is an asset.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Clear police check including vulnerable sector screening.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and stress.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid G driver’s license with proof of insurance for 3 years and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Learn and uphold L’Arche Identity, mission, policies and confidentiality.
• Support core members through activities programming and Passport funding.
• Provide leadership to the Activities and Communication team and ensure ministry compliance.
• Orient and develop team members; ensure continuity during transitions.
• Coordinate communications with families, service providers, and government officials.
• Oversee Passport finances and program budgets; pursue new funding via grants.
• Participate in regional groups and contribute to policy and procedures.
• Be a Leadership Team member and act as on-call leader as scheduled.
• Lead community meetings and support house traditions and spiritual life.
