Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart in Manitoba seeks a Pharmacist to manage the pharmacy operations on duty, provide counselling to customers and health care providers, dispense medications, and support the dispensary to maintain high service standards.

You will ensure privacy, comply with federal/provincial requirements, oversee workflow and inventory, and contribute to patient care with professional services and community focus.

Qualifications

• Ability to counsel on prescriptions and OTC products.
• Strong knowledge of privacy and confidentiality requirements.
• Experience with regulatory requirements for controlled substances.
• Ability to maintain accurate dispensing records.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operations of the Pharmacy while on duty, including dispensing medications and providing consultations.
• Provide counselling on prescriptions and over-the-counter products.
• Ensure privacy and confidentiality in accordance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with regulatory requirements.
