Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart is looking for a pharmacist to manage daily pharmacy operations, provide patient and provider counsel, and dispense medications with full regulatory compliance. You will ensure privacy and accurate dispensing while maintaining high standards of service.

You will also oversee workflow, inventory, and documentation, partner with other health professionals, and support ongoing staff training in a community-focused Canadian store.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge all customers approaching the Pharmacy.
• Provide counselling on prescriptions and products.
• Ensure privacy requirements and consent management.
• Dispense medications accurately and safely.
• Communicate with health care professionals as needed.
• Maintain records per legislation and policy.
• Manage workflow queues and inventory reviews.
• Oversee stock levels and orders from wholesaler.
• Follow SOPs and regulatory reporting requirements.
