Shoppers Drug Mart in Ontario is seeking a pharmacist to manage the pharmacy on duty, provide consultations to customers and health care providers, and dispense medications.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge customers approaching the Pharmacy
• Provide counselling on prescriptions and OTC products
• Ensure privacy and consent management
• Dispense medications and ensure accuracy
• Communicate with other health professionals to provide care
• Maintain records per legislation and policy
• Manage dispensary workflow and inventory with confidentiality
• Oversight of stock levels and orders from wholesalers
• Adhere to Controlled Drugs and Substances Act reporting requirements
• Read and act on store communications and incident reporting
