Job summary

Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) invites an Occupational Therapist to join City Square in Vancouver, BC. The role focuses on planning, delivering and coordinating care for clients with functional impairment across community, ambulatory and institutional settings.

You will collaborate with families and an interdisciplinary team to maximize clients’ participation and recovery, while aligning with VCH’s commitments to equity, inclusion and planetary health.

Qualifications

• Current full registration as an Occupational Therapist with CHCPBC.
• Eligible for membership in the CAOT.
• Valid BC Driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle for business-related purposes.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, evaluate and provide care coordination to address clients and families with functional impairment or chronic illness.
• Collaborate with family, interdisciplinary teams and other health professionals to address OT needs and maximize community participation.
• Contribute to program quality assurance, meetings, research and education within the organization.
• Support Indigenous Cultural Safety, equity, diversity and inclusion in service delivery.
