Job summary

CarePartners in Collingwood, Ontario, is seeking part-time RNs and RPNs for flexible schedules in the community nursing setting. You will deliver nursing services in homes, clinics and schools, while maintaining patient dignity and privacy.

The role offers variety, autonomy over your schedule and opportunities to grow within a supportive team that values quality patient care and continuing education.

Qualifications

• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for community visits.
• RN or RPN credential with active CNO registration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an effective Care Plan for Community Health Services.
• Provide nursing services to patients in home, clinic, retirement home or school, in person and virtually.
• Coordinate with Ontario Health atHome and interdisciplinary care team.
• Communicate with patients, families and team members to ensure quality care.
• Perform other clinical duties as required.

Wages

• For Registered Nurses (RN)- This position offers a competitive compensation grid, with progression based on hours worked and role-specific criteria. The RN hourly range is $32.08 to $47.38, and placement within the grid will be determined in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as the candidate’s knowledge, skills, qualifications, and relevant experience.
• For Registered Practical Nurses (RPN)- This position offers a competitive compensation grid, with progression based on hours worked and role-specific criteria. The RPN hourly range is $27.17 to $33.37, and placement within the grid will be determined in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as the candidate’s knowledge, skills, qualifications, and relevant experience.

What The Role Involves

• Developing and maintaining an effective Care Plan with respect to Community Health Services, independently or in cooperation with the Ontario Health atHome.
• Working with patients (both in-person and virtually) to provide exceptional nursing services
• Providing services in a variety of settings which may include in-home, clinic, retirement home or school
• Communicating and liaising with patients, family members and others within the interdisciplinary care team
• Performing other clinical duties as required

  What You Bring

  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) degree or diploma
  • Current College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) registration in good standing
  • A strong desire and commitment to making a difference in the lives of our patients
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • A valid driver’s license and vehicle as regular travel is required
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • CPR Certification
  • Current immunization record including 2 step TB test
  • To protect our patients, we require a current vulnerable sector check and a clear background check
