About Talent Edge:

As trusted Executive & Professional Search partners, Talent Edge brings deep expertise in talent acquisition and advisory across industries. We leverage cutting-edge research and market mapping tools to deliver exceptional candidate matches for our clients. Our talented team prides itself in bringing innovative strategies, and a passion for excellence to each and every engagement.

About our client:

Warrington PCI Management (WPM) is a full-service property management firm based in British Columbia, with a portfolio of over 17 million square feet of office, retail, industrial and residential properties. Warrington Residential is the company’s fastest growing division, whose portfolio is expected to double within the next 24 months. The most notable residential communities that are currently managed are The Line at King George Hub, Yarrow, Aster and Kaslo at East Village, The Rise by Grosvenor, Marine Gateway and more.

WPM is a Winner of BC's Top Employer (2025) award. What makes them a fantastic organization is their people-first, entrepreneurial culture and commitment to excellence. Employees have the opportunity to work on impactful, high-profile projects alongside an experienced and collaborative team.

About this role:

The Community Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of an assigned residential property, ensuring tenant satisfaction, property upkeep, and smooth coordination with site staff and contractors. This hands-on role involves responding promptly to tenant requests, maintaining a high standard of building cleanliness and safety, and ensuring compliance with BCFSA guidelines. The Community Manager also represents WPM at site meetings, community events, and tours, acting as the face of the company within their assigned communities.

This role includes team leadership and collaboration, managing and mentoring on-site teams such as maintenance, cleaning, security, and weekend staff. The Community Manager works closely with internal departments and vendors to ensure efficient property operations, supports onboarding and performance management, and promotes a positive tenant experience through effective communication and fair administration of tenancy agreements under the Residential Tenancy Act.

In the property management function, the Community Manager actively monitors building systems and suite conditions, oversees inspections, and ensures compliance with safety, environmental, and insurance standards. They coordinate capital improvement projects within approved budgets, manage receivables and legal documentation, and are available for after-hours emergencies. Overall, the role blends operational execution, leadership, and tenant engagement to support WPM’s commitment to well-managed, resident-focused communities.

About the candidate:

To succeed as a Community Manager, candidates should have a degree or diploma in a related field - ideally with certifications such as RMTI, PAMA, or ARM - and a minimum of two years’ experience in multi-family residential property management. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, along with financial acumen, sound judgment, and the ability to remain focused under pressure. The role requires someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and customer-service driven, with the ability to market suites effectively and handle day-to-day operational needs. A satisfactory criminal record check is also required due to the residential setting.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills, the ability to manage teams and vendors, and a working knowledge of building operations, safety standards, and applicable legislation such as the Residential Tenancy Act. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and experience with platforms like Yardi Voyager and PayScan are strong assets. Flexibility to work evenings or weekends, and the physical ability to manage on-site tasks - including walking, lifting, and working in varying conditions - is essential. A background in hospitality or fluency in a second language would also be beneficial.

This role comes with a competitive base salary in the range of CAD $85,000-95,000, along with a discretionary bonus, extended health and dental benefits, 3 weeks of paid vacation, RRSP matching program, and a health or wellness spending account. The final offer will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience. Talent Edge and WPM believe in pay equity, fairness and transparency.
