Position Summary

Works with mentally ill adults to assist them in staying in their own homes and out of institutions. Responsibilities include teaching life skills, monitoring medication use, and providing transportation for medical and other appointments. Ensures compliance with Subsidized Housing Regulations for individuals in Subsidized Housing.
Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30
Kitimat is set in a beautiful natural environment with ocean, mountains, and valleys. Located on the Douglas Channel, just off British Columbia's inside passage, Kitimat was built in the 1950s and is one of BC's youngest coastal communities. Main industries include aluminum smelting, pulp and paper manufacturing, and petrochemicals. The population is approximately 8,236.
