Job summary

The Calgary Police Service in Alberta is seeking service‑oriented, compassionate people who reflect the diversity of our community and possess integrity, sound judgment, and solid communication skills. Qualifications

  • Age 18+ required.
  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; ECA if education obtained outside Canada.
  • Class 5 non-GDL licence with minimal demerit points.
  • Enhanced Security Clearance (ESC) must be obtainable.
  • Criminal activity clear within the last three years.
  • Fluency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Enforce laws and maintain public order.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide assistance to the community.
  • Conduct investigations and attend court as required.
  • Build positive relationships with community members to foster trust.
