Job summary

Franklin Gardens in Canada seeks a Community Connections Manager to welcome residents, families, visitors and staff, creating belonging through thoughtful engagement and storytelling. Reporting to the Executive Director, you’ll balance warm frontline presence with administrative duties, coordinate events, maintain logs, and support move-ins and community partnerships.

The role emphasizes compassion, collaboration with the Human Experience and Programs teams, and adherence to safety and privacy

Qualifications

• Diploma in Social Services, Community Development, Communications, or Gerontology.
• Experience in long-term care, senior living, or social services is preferred.
• Compassionate, approachable and emotionally intelligent communicator.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for residents, families, visitors and team members.
• Support residents and families with information, guidance and connection.
• Maintain front welcome hub and lounge, and collaborate on events at the main entrance area.
• Respond to inquiries with professionalism, empathy and discretion; manage visitor logs and communications.
