The Community Care Assistant works under the direction of the Supervisor, Coordinator, or Manager to provide home support services to clients within a client‑ and family‑centered care model. Responsibilities include assisting clients with varied levels of care, observing and reporting significant changes in client presentation, collaborating with the health care team, clients, and caregivers to maximize independence with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), motivating and encouraging clients, and providing input and feedback in the care planning process.
Based in Powell River, BC.

Successful applicants may be required to complete a Criminal Records Review Check. All health care workers in publicly funded facilities must report their receipt of certain vaccines or history of certain infections as part of the onboarding process.
