Waterloo Catholic District School Board invites applications for a Communicative Disorders Assistant – Level 6. The role supports the Speech-Language Pathologist in delivering student services with the Waterloo Region schools. The candidate must have the CDAAC diploma, travel capability, and be prepared for a 35-hour week
The position offers competitive hourly rates and a market allowance; start date to be determined, within a diverse, equity-focused board environment.
The Waterloo Catholic District School Board with a total student population of 38,000, provides services to students in 52 schools (Kindergarten to Grade 12) across the Waterloo Region.

The Communicative Disorders Assistant assists the Speech-Language Pathologist (SPL) in the delivery of programs and services to students with communication disorders. The supervising SLP will determine the students with whom the Communicative Disorders Assistant will work, including student admission/demission, program goals, and intervention strategies.
Hourly Rate: $31.86 to $33.48 per hour (plus a market allowance of $8,000 annually)
Hours of Work: PermanentAssignment - Full-time, 35 hours per week
Work schedule determined by the Supervisor
Weeks/Year: Approximately 41 weeks/year
