What We Offer

What You’ll Be Doing

The Communications team manages organization-wide communication strategies to uphold BCCNM’s brand and reputation. The Communications Coordinator (CC) supports this by assisting with media relations, internal and external communications, governance support, and engagement activities.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Supporting communication strategies and projects in alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Managing registrant communications, including newsletters, content planning, and analytics.
  • Supporting governance communications such as annual reports, meetings, and newsletters.
  • Developing content for various channels and supporting engagement activities, including survey management and data analysis.
  • Demonstrating commitment to Indigenous cultural safety and anti-racism initiatives.

Education & Skills

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in communications or related field, with 1-3 years experience, preferably in healthcare or public service.
  • Strong research, editing, proofreading, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, familiarity with content management, email marketing, and basic HTML is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Indigenous issues and anti-racism in healthcare is an asset.
