Common Sense Oncology (CSO) - Communications and Engagement Officer

Common Sense Oncology (CSO), based at the Sinclair Cancer Research Institute at Queen’s University, is a global network dedicated to improving cancer care. We are seeking a Communications and Engagement Officer to implement our communication strategy, raise awareness, and foster engagement with our key audiences and partners.

The responsibilities include:

1. Planning and creating high-quality, engaging content across all communication channels to support our strategic plan.
2. Seeking media opportunities, coordinating interviews, and conducting media monitoring.
3. Managing and developing the CSO website.
4. Collaborating with the team to plan and execute events and initiatives that increase engagement with CSO’s mission and projects.
5. Supporting CSO’s fundraising and grant initiatives.
6. Identifying opportunities to position CSO-affiliated clinician-scientists as thought leaders in cancer care transformation both in Canada and globally.
