Summary:

REVENUE OPERATIONS TEAM

Revenue Operations drives growth by supporting our revenue-generating and revenue-retaining teams. We are working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Channel, Customer Enablement and Customer Support to provide insights and recommendations, improve efficiency of the GTM motions, and enable GTM teams to be innovative and self-sufficient.

We are currently seeking a Commissions Specialist on our Revenue Operations team. This role can be performed from our Vancouver office, remotely, or a combination of both.

We are looking for someone interested in executing commissions for GTM teams, defining compensation policies, and implementing systems and tools to automate commissions.

As a Commission Specialist, you’ll be part of a team that values excellence, initiative, and problem-solving. Your work will impact Clio’s growth trajectory, working alongside talented professionals experienced in SaaS and driven by collective success. You will collaborate with leadership in Revenue Operations, Sales, and Finance to shape our GTM strategy.

  • Manage commissions process, compensation policies, and SPIFF execution and modeling.
  • Respond promptly to sales management regarding sales compensation policies and procedures to maintain positive partnerships.
  • Conduct monthly meetings with GTM partners to discuss system needs, share training and policy information, and improve commission processes.
  • Audit and report commissions using multiple databases and systems to ensure accurate and timely payments, maintaining proper controls.
  • Investigate and communicate statistical and commission concerns to RevOps leadership and sales management to align incentives with Clio’s GTM strategy.
  • Create and maintain documentation of departmental procedures for consistency in calculations, audits, and financial processes.
  • Ensure data accuracy for sales data used in commission calculations, providing timely data to payroll.
  • Generate various sales reports on turnover, recognition, and awards.
  • Ensure reliability of commission payments and SPIFFs.
  • Oversee end-to-end commission processing, customization, and system integrations.
  • Identify reporting needs and define system and process requirements related to commissions and compensation plans.
  • Experience with compensation solutions like CaptivateIQ, Spiff, or Everstage is a plus.
  • Understand related systems such as Salesforce, Netsuite, and Workday.
  • Synthesize GTM data to create presentations and make fact-based recommendations, communicating effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Action-oriented and proactive in seizing opportunities.
  • Effective communicator with strong verbal and written skills.
  • Accountable for own successes and failures.
  • Decision quality with strong organizational skills.
  • Aligns projects with company OKRs and initiatives.

Technical Skills:
  • Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills.
  • Strong visual storytelling in presentations.
  • Experience integrating data sources and building dashboards (CRMA, Looker, Google Sheets).
  • Knowledge of statistical modeling techniques.
  • Querying experience (SQL/SAQL/SOQL) or programming skills is a plus.

Clio offers a competitive Total Rewards package, including salary, health benefits, flexible work, and recognition programs. The full salary range for this role is $77,400 to $104,600 CAD, depending on location and experience.
