Job summary

ALTEN CANADA is seeking a Commissioning Specialist to support testing, acceptance, and maintenance of critical mechanical systems in a high-security defense environment. You will ensure operational readiness and reliability across complex equipment, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires commissioning expertise, familiarity with naval or maritime programs, and experience with electrical and weapon systems.

Project Context

The Commissioning Specialist will support testing, acceptance, and maintenance activities for critical systems and equipment in a high-security, defense-focused environment. In accordance with our compensation practices, ALTEN is providing the salary range associated with this opportunity. Final compensation will be determined after considering several factors, including professional experience, skill set, educational background, certifications, and geographic market conditions. The current target salary range for this role is $70,000 - $105,000 per year for permanent positions and $50 - $70 per hour for contract roles.
