ALTEN Canada seeks an OT/IT specialist to support manufacturing tech across pharma and other GMP environments. You will maintain machine-to-system connectivity, coordinate IT/OT interfaces, and review vendor designs to ensure data integrity and long-term maintainability.
Responsibilities include system troubleshooting, documenting changes, planning upgrades, and safeguarding against cyber threats while collaborating with IT, automation, and quality teams.
In just three decades, ALTEN has become a global leader in Research & Development, Engineering, IT Services, Life Sciences, and Network Services. With a presence in more than 30 countries and a team of over 60,000 employees, we are trusted by industry leaders worldwide to deliver pioneering solutions and drive technical excellence.
ALTEN CANADA, a proud subsidiary of ALTEN headquartered in France, is dedicated to serving the Canadian market. With offices in Montreal and Toronto, we combine global expertise with local insight to accelerate innovation across Canada.
At ALTEN CANADA, our consultants thrive on solving complex, highly technical challenges across diverse industries. From Life Sciences to Energy, Automation to Manufacturing, Aviation, Defense. Automotive, Rail and Transportation to Information Systems and Telecommunications, our unwavering commitment to excellence shaping the future of technology and industry.
Context of the project: This role is to support the routine site operations - not attached to a specific project. This consultant will help keep the computer systems that run the factory’s machines working safely, smoothly, and securely. In a regulated manufacturing setting (like a pharmaceutical plant), many machines and computers are connected so they can share data and track production. The Operational Technology (OT) Specialist makes sure those connections are reliable, protected from cyber threats, and follows strict quality and safety rules.
