Job description

A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Performs a detailed review of the design documents, contract specifications, and utility requirements to familiarize with the project requirements.
• Assists with writing site-specific Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures, communicating this plan to all necessary field personnel, and ensuring that LOTO is followed.
• Coordinates with the Commissioning Principal to plan resources and equipment allocations.
• Prepares a detailed weekly and daily commissioning work plan that identifies each device and system to be tested, as well as the overall progress of the commissioning activities.
• Supervises and ensures all testing activities adhere to the Site Risk Assessment and Daily Work Plans.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• 2-3 years of commissioning experience or 4-6 years of construction supervision experience.
• Able to pass an MVR Check, Background Check, Physical, and Drug Test.
• Willingness to travel and relocate to the jobsite (100% travel with rotations).

WHAT WILL SET YOU APART

• Ability to read wiring diagrams, points list, single line, three-line, layout, plan, profile, grading, foundations, steel, and specifications as required to construct, test, and commission the HV/MV project.
• Background in all electrical trades we currently perform (Collection, Substation, and Solar) and is interchangeable in all segments.

Compensation ranges from $39.30 to $55.52 per hour, determined based on experience and qualifications, balanced against internal equity.
