Job summary

Fountain Tire Timmins is seeking a responsible, safe, and dedicated associate to join our team as a Commercial Tire Technician. You will work on a variety of tires, owner fleet vehicles and customer cars, with training and opportunities to advance. Competitive hourly wages and comprehensive benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of recent commercial tire experience in a professional setting.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to provide a satisfactory passenger or commercial Driver’s Abstract.
• This work can be unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy etc. and we need someone who will be up for the challenge.
• We need someone who can be on call after hours.
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds if required.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting, installing, balancing, rotating and/or repairing truck, farm, industrial and/or OTR tires.
• Greeting and communicating with customers on all aspects of repair, service and tire sales.
• Maintain safety for yourself and coworkers on the job.
• Take pride in work to keep customers safe and on the road.
• Adapt to varying daily tasks and customer needs.
